Designing Apps - Single Field

The Single Field widget works much like a Spreadsheet, except that it only has one field and an additional label. You can enter formulas in both the field and the label, but only the field has specific type, and only the field can be used in formulas in other sections or in section and action parameters. The field address is the section name.

Section properties:

  • Label position - the option allows you to select whether the field should have a label and where the label should be relative to the field
  • Label size - allows you to choose whether the height of the label should change with the size of the section and be always a percentage of the section, or whether the height should always be the same regardless of the section size
  • Label height - determines how high the label should be
