Hash

Description of formula:
Calculate the hash value of given text, using SHA256 algorithm (by default) or SHA512 (optional). For each text there is one, specific hash. (Inverse function doesn't exist, which redo original text from hash.)
Examples of use:
- You can use this algorithm to check, if someone has changed given text, by comparing hash of original text with hash of possibly changed text.
- This algorithm is also useful for storing passwords. You can store only hash of the password and compare hashes, when someone enters the password. (It is more safe to store hash than the password itself.)
Syntax:
hash(text)
or
hash(text,algorithm)
Parameters:
text
(type: text) text, from which you want make hash
algorithm
(type: text)(optional parametr) algorithm, you want use (SHA256 or SHA512)
Returned type:
Text
Examples:
