Starting with version 3.0, Qalcwise provides integration with AI Assistant, enabling users to perform actions in applications using voice commands. As a result, users no longer need to open applications or manually enter data. Simply click the microphone icon to open the dialog window, where you can either speak your command or enter it as text.
AI Assistant Configuration
To use AI Assistant in Qalcwise, you must configure an external data source.

- Fill in all required configuration fields using your access credentials.
- Click "Save" to complete the configuration.

How do I set up an app to work with the AI Assistant?
For the AI Assistant to correctly recognize apps and carry out user commands, the following conditions must be met:
- Give the app a clear and descriptive name, such as “Vacation Plan” or “Vacation Request.”
- In the app description (in English), clearly state its purpose, e.g., that it is used by users to create and submit vacation requests. A detailed description helps the AI Assistant correctly match the app to the user’s command.
- The application must be available in the Production version. Draft versions are not supported by the AI Assistant.
Example
If there is an application in the system for submitting vacation requests, a user can issue the following command:
“I want to take vacation from August 10 to August 15, 2026.”
The AI Assistant will recognize the user’s command, open the appropriate application, and automatically populate it with the relevant data. The user can then verify the entered information and save the request.
